India is a country of enormous cultural diversity; particularly in the north. Here India's history is perhaps most complex and ancient and drowned in anonymous scriptures which have come down the history lane to the present day and manifested in its varied cultures, religions, languages, ceremonies, customs, traditions and landscapes.
This itinerary covers some beautiful cities of northern states of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh and Rajasthan. We start our tour by touring the capital of India, with visits to Village of Hope, a place that inspires visitors to do something good to the society, and some historical monuments that provide insight into India’s cultural wealth. From Delhi we drive to Dharamsala – seat for H.H. Dalai Lama. A day’s trek to a temple is included to provide children an opportunity to enjoy outdoors in addition to the cultural exchange with the local children they stay engaged in. We end the tour in Amritsar in the state of Punjab with visits to the Golden Temple and other sights of historical importance.
